The Treasure Vault Delivery and Returns Policy

This section outlines the terms and secure shipping conditions for Canadian purchases. All prices are in Canadian Dollars (CAD).

1. Processing Time and Custom Orders

Standard stock orders are processed, inspected, and packaged for shipment within 1-3 business days. Custom-made, engraved, or personalized items will require 7-14 business days for preparation, as noted on the specific product page.

2. GST/HST and Pricing

All product prices displayed on the website are exclusive of applicable taxes. The Goods and Services Tax (GST) or Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) will be calculated at checkout based on the provincial rate of the shipping destination (e.g., 5% GST, 13% HST in Ontario).

3. Canada-Wide Shipping Options

We partner with reliable Canadian carriers (Canada Post, Purolator, FedEx) to offer:

Standard Shipping: Typically 5-7 business days (remote areas may take longer, up to 10 days).

Express Shipping: Typically 1-3 business days. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout and vary by speed and location.

4. Complimentary Shipping Threshold

We offer Free Standard Shipping on all orders over $100.00 CAD, before applicable taxes. All complimentary shipping includes full insurance coverage.

5. Signature Confirmation

Due to the value of fine jewelry, a signature is required upon delivery for all orders over $350.00 CAD. This ensures the package is securely received by an authorized person. We cannot waive this requirement for security purposes.

II.  Returns and Exchanges (Canada)

6. The 14-Day Return Guarantee

You have 14 calendar days from the date of delivery to initiate a return for a refund or store credit. We must receive the returned item within 14 days of the return initiation date.

7. Return Condition & Inspection All jewelry must be returned in its original, pristine, and unworn condition. This includes the original packaging, velvet bag, cleaning cloth and tags. Items will undergo a detailed inspection by our quality control team.

8. Non-Returnable / Final Sale Items

Items that are Final Sale and cannot be returned or exchanged include:

Items marked as "Clearance" or "Non-refundable."

Any jewelry that has been resized, altered, or damaged after delivery.

Earrings (for hygiene reasons).

9. Return Authorization Process

Request RMA: Contact us at [Support Email/Phone Number] to receive a mandatory Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Returns shipped without an RMA will be refused.

Secure Shipping: The customer is responsible for return shipping costs. Returns must be shipped using a traceable method (e.g., Canada Post Xpresspost) and insured for the full purchase price. We are not responsible for lost or damaged returned shipments.

Tax Documentation: Include a copy of your original receipt/invoice for accurate tax processing.

10. Refund Processing

Once the returned item is inspected and approved (typically 5 business days after receipt), the refund, including the applicable GST/HST paid, will be credited back to your original payment method. Please allow 7-14 business days for the credit to appear on your statement.

11. Restocking Fee for Non-Compliance

Items returned within a 14 day window but deemed incomplete (e.g., missing certification) or requiring minor cleaning may be subject to a $50 CAD administrative and restocking fee, deducted from the final refund amount.

12. Warranty and Defective Items

Our policy does not replace or act as a lifetime warranty. If an item is found to be defective or damaged upon immediate receipt, you must notify The Treasure Vault within 48 hours of delivery. We will arrange for the pre-paid return and either replace the item or issue a full refund, covering all associated shipping costs.
